To be eligible for NHS a student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or above through 1st semester of their Junior year, then complete the application process which is based on Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Character. The NHS faculty council which reviews the applications, then those selected are inducted at our Induction Ceremonies in April. Each National Honor Society Chapter must conduct a service project for their school or community.

This year Baltic National Honor Society has been busy with the following activities:  Helped set up and tear down the “Flags Across America” display at the first home football game provided by Maximum Promotion.  Helped the Baltic Lutheran Church with new flooring. Went and packed lunches for “Lunches Served”.  Took part in “Project Warm Up” making tie blankets for the less fortunate students in the surrounding area.  Decorated our school for the Holiday season.  The Angle Tree once again for our local families in need. Which was a total success due to all the support from our community we were able to help numerous families this holiday season.  Upcoming activities will be running our Blood Drive at the school. And helping at the Fireman’s soup dinner. Our induction ceremonies for this year will be April  .
